Welcome to the home page of Ban Low-frequency Oscillating Woofers (B.L.O.W.) - an organization dedicated to the elimination of prominent low-end frequencies in music. We believe that the blatant disregard for low-end frequency protocol in popular music must be immediately addressed and arrested. In particular, we believe that the blatant celebration of bottom end championed by the Los Angeles-based musical combo Far East Movement in their popular hits "Girls on the Dance Floor," "Like a G6" and "Jello" as well as their unbridled and frenetic live performances must be abated. We are concomitantly concerned with all of the abuses of bass frequencies pervasive in the various forms of current dance, hip hop, pop, electro and dub step music but since the musicians of Far East Movement draw from all of these forms in order to create what they boldly call their "Dirty Bass" sound, we are focusing our current efforts on their forthcoming "Dirty Bass" album in our overall goal to Ban Low-frequency Oscillating Woofers. To this end, we've filed a petition and formal complaint with their record label Cherrytree Records. Please join us in our goal to stop the brash and exaggerated amplification of low-frequencies in Far East Movement's music by writing to Cherrytree Records and expressing your views.
Thank you,
Horatio
